Connecting Target to Kapoq - What you'll need

  • Access to the Roundel Media Studio (RMS) account, with permission to submit support tickets.

  • Your account name exactly as it appears in Roundel Media Studio.

  • Admin access in Kapoq so you can copy your account authorization link. If you don't have admin access, your Customer Success Manager can send you the link.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Copy your authorization link from Kapoq

In Kapoq, go to Admin > Company > Account > and copy the Authorization Link for the account you're connecting.

Each Kapoq account has its own Authentication link, so make sure you're copying the one that matches the Target account you want to connect.

Step 2: Open the Roundel Support Center

Log in to Roundel Media Studio and click the question mark (?) icon in the upper-right corner of the platform.

The Support Center contains documentation, guides, and knowledge articles. Roundel encourages users to review these first, since many common questions are answered there. To submit your API access request, select Contact Us.

Submitting through the Roundel Support Center ensures your request is routed to the right team and tracked through resolution.

Step 3: Submit your API access request

In the ticket, include the following:

"We would like to request API access for the below account:

  • API Requester: Kapoq

  • Account Name (as shown in Roundel Media Studio): your account name.

    • Copy your account name directly from Roundel Media Studio rather than typing it from memory. It needs to match exactly, including capitalization, spacing, and any suffix such as "- RMS"."

  • Consent Link: [paste the link you copied from Kapoq > Admin > Company > Account Authorization Link]

Step 4: Roundel reviews and grants consent

The RMS support team reviews the request and grants consent to the Kapoq app using the link you provided. No action is needed from you during this step.

Step 5: Approve the pending authorization in Kapoq

Once Roundel has granted consent, a pending authorization will appear in Kapoq. Approve it to complete the connection.

Step 6: Confirm your data is syncing

Your Criteo and Target Roundel data will begin syncing after the authorization is approved. Data typically begins populating within 24 hours. If you don't see anything after a full day, contact your Customer Success Manager.
