First, navigate to the Listings Module to assign SKUs to Brands.
Three Ways to Assign Brands
On the SKU tab, there are three methods available:
Individually Through the Grid
Through the Action Menu
In Bulk via Bulk Upload
⚠️ Important: Before getting started, disable the 'Active Only' toggle in the top right of the grid. This will expose all active and inactive SKUs, ensuring you can correctly assign Brands to any SKU that may have historical data associated with it.
Method 1 — Individually Through the Grid
Within the Listings Module SKU grid, locate the 'Brand' column. Click into this column for any SKU to reveal a drop-down of all available Brands (account-specific). Selecting one will assign that Brand to the SKU.
Method 2 — Through the Action Menu
Use the checkboxes on the far left of the grid to select multiple SKUs at once. This will populate the action drop-down menu at the top of the grid. Select 'Change Brand', choose the appropriate Brand from the drop-down, and apply it to all selected SKUs.
Method 3 — Via Bulk Upload
This is the recommended method when updating a large number of SKUs or assigning more than one Brand across your catalog.
Step 1: Download the template
From the Manage Inventory grid, select the 'Bulk Upload' button in the top right corner, then choose '1) Download Excel Template'.
Step 2: Fill out the template
In Column G of the template, select the Brand you'd like to assign for each SKU. You can copy and paste selections down as needed. Save your file once complete.
⚠️ Important: Do not alter the layout of the template in any way — do not remove the top row, add or remove columns (including the hidden Column A), rename columns, or add tabs. Only update the cells indicated as editable.
Step 3: Upload the completed template
Return to the Manage Inventory grid, select 'Bulk Upload', and choose '2) Upload Completed Template'. You will receive a confirmation message indicating whether the upload was successful or if there are errors to address. Successfully uploaded SKUs will have their Brands reflected in the grid.
Once complete, see How to Assign Brands to Ad Campaigns for next steps.
