In the Listings Module, Kapoq offers the ability to organize listings via tags, which allows you to:
Group listings based on identified relevant characteristics;
Filter by the created tags in other modules, such as Analytics, to easily analyze performance for the tagged groups.
To set up these tags, navigate to the Listings Module, and click on the Tag Wizard. There will be an option to go through a tutorial if no tags have yet been added.
Click “Continue” to follow the tutorial, which will assist you in creating Tag Groups. Clicking “Skip for now” will allow you to create tag groups on your own, or come back to go through the tutorial at a later time.
Tag Groups and Tags
A Tag Group is a broad group that serves as an umbrella for specific Tags. Enter a group name (e.g., parent, color, size, style, type, status) to use as a Tag Group. Next, create relevant tags that fit under the group. For example, under a Tag Group of “Color”, you can add blue, red, green, etc., as Tags.
Adding Products to Tags
Once complete, you can now add specific products to the tag that was created. This can be done in a few different ways:
In the Unassigned Filter, manually choose which Tag to assign the product to.
Select multiple products and choose a Tag from the “Apply Tag” drop-down.
3. Search with a keyword in the search bar and select the relevant products from there.
Additional Tag Groups and Tags can be added at any time in the sidebar.
Now let’s review where tags live:
Analytics - Performance and Comparison tools
Analytics - Advertising Report
Within Analytics, Tags can be leveraged in the Performance and Comparison tables, in addition to the exports. To view Tag Groups in Analytics, click and drag the Tag header to the top of the table In Analytics > Performance.
In this example, we clicked Type and dragged it into the light grey header titled, "Drag a column header and drop it here to group by that column".
All data will be filtered and rolled up by the Tag Group for a convenient way to analyze the performance.
To see all the products within the Tag, select the Tag name and the table will accordian out to expose these products:
In addition, Tags can be found in the Advertising Report downloadable report in the Analytics > Reports section.
Navigate to the 9th tab: 9 - Tag Groups to review.
That covers Tags for now. If you have any questions or need help setting up Tags, please let us know.
