Amazon allows sellers to request product reviews from customers upon purchase and Kapoq allows you to automate this request. Below is an example of the templated email Amazon sends on the accounts behalf which cannot be adjusted.
Note: The email comes directly from Amazon and it is sent from an Amazon email address containing Amazon’s standard branding. The wording makes it clear, however, that it is being sent at the request of the seller, but nothing within this email is customizable.
To enable automated review requests within Kapoq, navigate to Customer Experience > Settings.
From there, toggle on “Automate review request?”.
When setting up, please note the other options you can enable customizing when the review gets sent and who it gets sent to.
Here's more information about each parameter:
Only Repeat Customers? This is specific to customers who have purchased from the account previously. Kapoq is able to identify these customers based on their anonymized email address documented in the Order Report.
Shipment Date is when the shipment is sent to the customer, not when the shipment is received. Review requests can only be sent between five and thirty days after the shipment date. In addition, you can only send one review request for the same order.
Exclude orders with refund is generally recommended to prevent negative review experiences.
Once enabled, Review Request data and statuses can be tracked in Customer Experience > Request Reviews.
In summary, the feature allows sellers to request reviews (and seller feedback) in a simple way that is fully compliant with Amazon’s complex policies around review solicitation.
