Once you deposit money into your Karta Personal account, your funds are held in pooled wallets managed by Karta using Privy wallet infrastructure. Your individual balance is tracked separately in our system, so you can view and use it in the app for card payments and transfers, subject to applicable limits and checks.
You don’t need to manage private keys to use your account. Karta manages access to the pooled wallets, while you manage your spending and transfers through the app.
