How to top up your account with bank transfer

1. Open the Mini App

Launch your Karta app and navigate to the + Top Up section.

2. Choose the top-up method

Click on the Bank Transfer option.

3. Send Funds to Your Account

You’ll see a page with your virtual account details (account number, routing number, bank name).

👉 Use these details to:

  • Make a transfer yourself from your online banking or payment app, or

  • Share the details with the person/company who will send you money.

What to keep in mind when topping up via bank transfer

Some bank transfers may require additional review by our banking partner. This can happen, for example, if the transfer is sent from a third-party bank account (not under your name) or if the transfer amount is larger than usual.

If a transfer is selected for review, processing may take longer than standard banking timelines. In some cases, additional information may be requested, or the funds may be returned to the original sender.

What Is Minimum Deposit Amount

The minimum amount is $1 after fees are applied. Our recommendation would be a minimum deposit amount of $5.

What if I send less than the minimum deposit?

If a transfer is sent below the minimum amount ($1), it can’t be credited to your account due to technical limitations. Unfortunately, such transfers can’t be returned, so we recommend double-checking the amount before sending.
