What does this error mean?
If you received the following notification from Karta in Telegram:
"Reason: Apple Wallet flagged this attempt as risky."
It means that Apple Wallet's security system declined your attempt to add the card.
This doesn't mean there's a problem with your Karta card or account. Apple performs its own security checks when cards are added to Wallet, and some attempts may be declined.
What can I do?
You can try the following steps:
Wait 48–72 hours before trying to add your card again. We recommend waiting the full 72 hours.
Try a different Apple device, if available.
Try using a VPN with a U.S. location.
Update your iPhone to the latest available iOS version.
Please note: These steps may help, but none of them guarantees success. Apple makes the final decision on whether the attempt is approved, and Karta cannot influence or override this decision.
What if I see "Contact Your Card Issuer"?
This is a general Apple Wallet error message that doesn't necessarily indicate a problem with your card.
Please check the notification from Karta in Telegram for the specific reason your attempt was declined.
What if I see "Call to Verify"?
If Apple Wallet asks you to call for verification, simply call the number displayed on your screen and follow the instructions.
This is an additional verification step and doesn't mean your attempt has been declined.
