How do I connect my bank account?

Linking a bank account

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Connecting your bank account to Kashu lets you move converted credit into your own account quickly and securely. Kashu uses bank-level encryption and Open Banking technology. Your login credentials are never stored or visible to Kashu.

Key Points

  • Linking a U.S. bank account is required for transfers and withdrawals.

  • Kashu only receives read-only validation access during setup.

  • You remain in full control — no funds move without your authorization.

Step-by-Step: Connecting Your Bank Account

  1. Log In to Kashu

    • Open the Kashu app or website.

  2. Go to Wallet

    • Select Wallet → Add Bank Account.

  3. Select Your Bank

    • Choose your bank from the supported list, or search by name.

  4. Verify Securely

    • Enter your bank login through the secure Open Banking portal.

    • Some banks may send a one-time code (OTP) for confirmation.

  5. Confirm Account

    • Kashu validates the account and displays it under Wallet → Linked Accounts.

    • You can now move funds into your bank account.
