How to create a Kanban Pipeline in Kanbox?

Create a custom Pipeline, use sales or recruiting templates, or duplicate an existing board to manage your lead workflows.

Updated over a month ago

➕ Create a blank Pipeline or from a template

From the Pipelines page, click the “+ New” button in the top-left corner.

A dropdown menu will appear with several options:

  • Blank Pipeline

  • Pipeline from a team template (if any are available)

  • Sales Pipeline (predefined)

  • Recruiting Pipeline (predefined)

✏️ Blank Pipeline

Select “Blank Pipeline”, give it a name, and click “Create.”
You’ll get an empty Pipeline with no columns — ready to customize.

🧩 Sales Pipeline (predefined template)

Select “Sales Pipeline”, enter a name, then click “Create.”

The Pipeline will include the following columns:

  1. New Lead – Freshly added prospect

  2. First Contact – First outreach initiated

  3. Waiting for Response – Awaiting a reply

  4. Engaged – Lead has shown interest

  5. Meeting Scheduled – Call or demo confirmed

  6. Negotiation – Deal discussions in progress

  7. Won – Deal successfully closed

  8. Lost – Opportunity not converted

🧑‍💼 Recruiting Pipeline (predefined template)

Select “Recruiting Pipeline”, name it, and click “Create.”

It will include the following columns:

  1. Candidates – People added to the process

  2. Screening – Initial qualification

  3. First Interview – First interview completed

  4. Second Interview – Deeper follow-up interview

  5. Offer Sent – Formal offer sent

  6. Negotiation – Candidate discussing offer

  7. Hired – Candidate accepted

  8. Rejected – Candidate not selected

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Create a team Pipeline template (managers only)

Only team managers can create and share Pipeline templates with their team.

To do so:

  1. Create a custom Pipeline with your own columns

  2. Click the ⁝ menu at the top of the Pipeline

  3. Select “Create a team Pipeline template”

That template will then appear for all teammates under “+ New” > “Pipeline from a team template”

🌀 Duplicate an existing Pipeline

You can also duplicate an existing Pipeline to reuse its structure.

  1. Click the ⁝ menu next to the Pipeline name

  2. Select “Duplicate”

  3. A new Pipeline will be created with the same columns (but no members), named with “(Copy)” at the end
