Replacing Hydraulic Pumps:

  • Remove the chair top from the hydraulic base. Two people should be able to wiggle it off the pump shaft or use a rubber mallet to separate the chair top from the pin in the hydraulic base shaft.

  • Turn the base upside down and remove the 6mm bolt(s). The hydraulic pump should be easy to remove from the base.

  • Install the new hydraulic pump by reversing the order of the previous 2 steps.

  • Use the new bolts provided, if provided.

  • Replace the chair top on the pump shaft. Align the pin in the pump shaft with the slot in the seat plate. Allow the seat to settle on to the pump shaft by sitting in the chair. The pin does not have to go all the way up into the slot – just partway.

  • The chair is now ready for use.πŸ‘

❗ IMPORTANT: Exercise all hydraulic pumps (to remove any air) before use.

Exercise all hydraulic pumps at least three times per week. Pump them all the way up and then all the way down at least three times with as much weight in the chair as possible. leave in the DOWN position over-night

These steps must be performed due to tipping and movement of the base during shipping and during everyday use. It is recommended that the pump be LOCKED (pull UP on the bail) once the chair is pumped up to the desired height.
