Is your Liberty Dryer making more noise than it should? Don’t worry—this is often a quick fix! Over time, the screws that hold the motor inside the dryer cabinet can loosen, causing extra noise. Tightening them should help. Follow these steps to get your dryer running smoothly again.
Before You Start: Safety First!
⚠️ Unplug the dryer before opening the back panel to avoid electrical hazards.
Step-by-Step Fix:
1️⃣ Locate the Motor Plate:
Open the back panel of your Liberty Dryer to access the motor plate (see image below).
2️⃣ Check the Screws:
Look for the two screws that secure the motor in place—they may have loosened over time.
3️⃣ Tighten the Screws:
Using a screwdriver, gently tighten both screws to ensure the motor is secure.
4️⃣ Test Your Dryer:
Plug the dryer back in and turn it on. If the noise is gone, you're all set!
💡 Still Hearing Noise?
If your dryer is still loud after tightening the screws, the issue may be with the motor itself. Contact our support team for further assistance.
