If your barber chair pump isn’t working as it should, replacing is a straightforward fix. Follow the video tutorial below, and use this guide to walk you through the steps.

Before You Start:

Ensure you have the new replacement pump.

Gather basic tools: a wrench, rubber mallet, and any included hardware.

It’s best to have a second person assist with lifting.

Replacement Steps:

1. Remove the Chair Top: Carefully detach the seat from the hydraulic base. (See video for positioning.)

2. Remove the Old Pump from the base plate by removing the bolts.

3. Install the New Pump by attaching to base plate with bolts.

4. Reattach chair top and Test: Once the new pump is in place, test the chair’s height adjustment to ensure smooth operation.
