How to verify a piece after encountering issues with scanning the barcode/serial number

  1. If the barcode or serial number do not scan, you can type the TAG NUMBER or SERIAL NUMBER into the ENTER TAG or S/N textbox or click on the NOT SCANNING? link, which will display any items located in the space selected:

  2. If the barcode or serial number are typed in instead of scanned, the system does require a photo of the asset for verification, so you will see this screen next:
