You may need to update the location of an asset assigned to you - this is easy to do from both mobile and desktop.
If the asset is unverified and you do not wish to verify it while updating the location:
You will want to begin by viewing the asset you wish to change.
Click the "edit" button to begin changes
From here, update the room and building fields to correctly match where the asset is.
Save the asset and the changes you made should be reflected on the view asset screen.
Note: If a building does not appear on the list, you will need to speak to a project manager to get the building added. Please note - if a building is called by a nickname (such as "BB" for a Biology Building), you will likely want to search under the building's full name.
If you are trying to change the asset location while verifying:
The KEPR system will update the asset's location to the room and building that you verify it in. So as long as you are in the correct space when you verify the asset, it will automatically update. For more information, see the article on "Verifying Assets".
