What time is the US sharemarket open?
Due to daylight saving time in both New Zealand and the US, the open hours for the market will differ throughout the year:

Early November to mid-March (NZDT, US Standard Time) | 3:30 AM – 10:00 AM NZDT |
Mid-March to early April (NZDT, US Daylight Time) | 2:30 AM – 9:00 AM NZDT |
Early April to late September (NZST, US Daylight Time) | 1:30 AM – 8:00 AM NZST |
Late September to early November (NZDT, US Daylight Time) | 2:30 AM – 9:00 AM NZDT |
The above hours may be further affected by public holidays in NZ that aren't holidays in the US. For example, if you place a trade during ANZAC day, your trade will not settle until the next business day. However the trade will process for the calendar date of April 25th.
