Can I invest as a Notified Foreign Investor (NFI)?

Written by Alison Perkins

If you’re a Notified Foreign Investor (NFI), it’s important to know that Kernel does not currently offer a zero-rate PIE structure on any of our funds.

All Kernel funds currently operate as multi-rate PIEs. This means we apply the standard Prescribed Investor Rates (PIRs) of:

  • 10.5%

  • 17.5%

  • 28%

At this stage, we’re not able to separate units into a tax-exempt class for NFI investors. Because of that, NFI investors are not able to access a zero-rate PIE through Kernel.
