The Giveaway is run by Kernel Wealth Limited (Kernel) and is governed by these terms and conditions.
The promotion is a draw to be facilitated by Kernel for four prizes as specified below (Promotion):
A $7,000 travel package, comprised of $5,000 Flight Centre voucher and $2,000 Airbnb gift card.
A $1,000 “Invest in your Home” prize comprised of $500 Citta Voucher and $500 Mitre10 voucher.
A $1,000 “Invest in your Yourself” package comprised of $250 restaurant voucher, $400 spa voucher, $200 shopping voucher and $150 ECOYA candle set.
A $1,000 “Cost of Living Boost” prize comprised of $500 fuel voucher and $500 supermarket voucher.
By entering the Promotion, you agree to all applicable terms and conditions including these terms and conditions, and our Terms & Conditions.
The Promotion runs from 10 AM 28 Aug 2023 until 10 AM on 28 Sep 2023 (Promotional Period).
Entry in the Promotion is open to NZ residents. Kernel staff and their immediate family are not Eligible Participants.
To enter the Promotion, you must have an active Kernel account (Eligible Account).
An Eligible Account has the chance of having up to 5 entries in the random draw. The number of entries for an Eligible Account is determined by the following criteria:
1 entry for having the Kernel KiwiSaver plan as the chosen KiwiSaver provider on the Eligible account
1 entry for having a minimum of $100 invested in any one or more Kernel funds (Invest) on the Eligible account
1 entry for having a minimum of $100 deposited through either the 34-day Notice Saver or the Cash Plus Fund on the Eligible account
1 entry for an active auto-invest or auto-save set up on the Eligible Account.
1 entry for having a goal set up on the Eligible Account.
Kernel reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Account from participating in the Promotion for behaving in a “spammy” account set up behaviour or trying to “game” the competition.
Kernel, in their sole discretion, will randomly select four winners on 29 September 2023.
The winners will be notified via phone and/or email. If Kernel has not received any communication from a winner by 13 October 2023, Kernel may, in its discretion: deem the winner to have forfeited their selection and prize and draw another winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Kernel can choose not to award the prize if we reasonably suspect the winning entry to involve fraudulent, misleading or deceptive conduct. If we do not award the prize on one of these grounds, we will draw another winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The prize is not redeemable for cash.
Kernel does not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, invalid or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, service, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
Kernel reserves the right to substitute some or all of the prize for another of similar value or style.
Kernel reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel this Promotion at any time without notice.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her first name and nearest town/city in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current New Zealand data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by New Zealand law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
