The three roll-up options
When several entities or periods answer the same Yes/No question, their answers need to be reduced to a single value. There are three ways to do that:
Percentage answering Yes (default): Shows X% Yes, including 0% Yes and 100% Yes for unanimous answers.
Yes if any answer is Yes: Shows Yes if at least one entity or period answered Yes; otherwise No if there's at least one No; otherwise no value. Useful for compliance-style questions, e.g. "did any site report an incident?"
No if any answer is No: Shows No if at least one entity or period answered No; otherwise Yes if there's at least one Yes; otherwise no value.
Existing metrics keep their current (percentage) behaviour until you change the setting.
How to configure roll-up behaviour
Go to Custom metrics under setup and open the Yes/No question you want to configure.
Find the roll-up behaviour setting and choose one of the three options.
Save the question.
This setting is per question, so different Yes/No questions in the same metric group can use different roll-up behaviours.
Please note:
Roll-up behaviour affects how the answer displays and aggregates across your entities and periods, it doesn't change the underlying answers themselves.
Changing the setting on an existing metric applies going forward; it doesn't rewrite past submissions.
