Create new product template

In the admin area under Templates/Products you can manage templates for products and create new templates.

Click on "Create product template" in the upper right corner and select a name and a category.

You can choose from the following (standard) categories:

  • Stickers

  • sheet

  • block

  • book

  • envelope

  • business card

You can also define your own category. This is then also available for future templates.

The main purpose of categories is to make it easier for you to find the templates when creating quotations.

It is important to create the products cleanly so that you have a good basis to fall back on if the customer wants a reprint or they are products that are regularly produced.

This also ensures that Keyline calculates the product correctly and calculates times and materials correctly, including all subsidies.

It is best to assemble the printed product on the basis of a simple "sheet".

Colour, page count, other components and finishing are added quickly and easily, so you can see step by step in the production flow how Keyline plans your product through production.

If you have successfully created a product at order level (main calculation view), you can save it as a template at any time using the 3 dots on the right (...).
