What exactly are tasks?

In Keyline, each production step to be dispatched is referred to as an task.
This is independent of the means of production, since an operation can be carried out on different means of production. For example, machines can have several capabilities, or you can use several machines with the same capabilities.

The incoming products and materials, together with the manufactured products, form the basis for Keyline to sort each operation uniquely into the production flow.
