New materials are created under Warehouse / Materials. This applies to all materials except paper (the print material).

All materials to be printed must be created in the admin area in Materials / Papers. Only there can you specify the required specifications such as grammage, environmental certification, direction of travel, surface finish, etc.

When a paper is created, Keyline automatically creates an identical material when used - to be found under Stock/Materials. There you can view and edit quantity, price and material movements (i.e. all stock-relevant settings and information).

If a paper is deleted, the material in the warehouse is not automatically deleted as well. For example, there may still be stock or orders currently in production that use the material. The material must therefore be deleted manually.

You can also search for the papers under Warehouse/Materials and, if it is a paper you have created, you can also go directly to the paper specifications to make changes.

Standard papers that have keylines in the system cannot be changed.

This means that all warehouse-specific settings are managed and made for the materials. (Order behavior, prices, stock quantity, etc.) The paper is created in the admin area with all important properties such as paper thickness, color, etc.)
