Create new materials under Warehouse > Materials. This applies to all materials except paper (the print substrate).
All materials that will be printed on must be created in Admin under Materials > Papers. Only there can you enter the required specifications such as grammage, environmental certification, grain direction, surface finish and so on.
When a paper is created, Keyline automatically creates an identical material when it is used. You’ll find it under Warehouse > Materials. There you can view and edit quantity, price and material movements (all warehouse-related settings and information).
Deleting a paper does not automatically delete its associated material in the warehouse. For example, there may still be stock remaining or orders in production that use this material. In these cases, the material must be deleted manually.
Under Warehouse > Materials you can search directly for papers. If it is a paper you created, you can go from its material entry directly to the paper specifications to make changes there.
Standard papers that come from the Keyline paper catalog are not editable.
Just get in touch in this case — we’ll delete the materials manually for you.
