It could be nessesary that individual tasks have to be outsourced because they cannot be produced internally. 

To make this scenario as simple as possible, you can change the mode of each individual operation in Keyline under the "Outsourcing" tab.

With the option "Outsource only specifics tasks", all operations you need to produce the product are listed. Simply select the desired tasks here, enter the expected duration, then enter the supplier, the price and the expected amount of wasted manufactured product for each scale. 

In the calculation overview under "Prices" you will see the external costs listed as an extra item.
