In Packaging & Logistics, the product gets “wrapped up”. You have plenty of options to choose from.
A white box representing your product is displayed for each version. Click the “green +” to the right of the box to define exactly what should happen to the version.
The following options are available:
Pack in full or in partial quantities: For example, 1,000 copies to one address or 2 × 500 copies to two addresses.
Packaging type: Counting, addressing, franking, shrink-wrapping, banding, inserting into envelopes, boxing, palletizing, shrink-wrapping pallets.
Packaging quantity is an estimate: If you’re unsure how many copies fit in a box, you can leave this option unspecified. The number of copies can then be changed during production through the web interface.
Description: For clarity, add a description that appears on the iPad and on the web. If several packages are created, you can name them (e.g. “Freight shipping, special handling, etc.”).
Security level: Scanning and recording packages or copies will be possible here in future. This function is currently inactive.
Next step:Repacked immediately: The products go into another box.
Temporary storage: Currently inactive, but will become available with the new warehouse management. You can create a pallet note, but not a delivery note.
Ready for collection: You can generate a collection note here, but not a standard delivery note.
Will be shipped: This option lets you create a standard delivery note.
Enter all the necessary information in the delivery note’s address fields. Keyline remembers every address per organization, so you can easily find and select it through quick search.
