Under Required production resource capability, the production task is linked to the corresponding capability of the production resource, which usually has the same name.
With the option “Automatically select a suitable production resource”, all production resources with the selected capability are shown. Selecting a specific production resource restricts the selection – only that one resource is then used.
This lets you set a preferred production resource as the default. Otherwise, Keyline selects the production resource alphabetically.
Number your production resources. This keeps your machines grouped together in the administration area so you can see them at a glance. It is best to use two-digit numbers.
