The required raw materials are only defined if the task requires raw materials such as paper, ink, but also further processing materials such as filing mechanisms, adhesive bags, etc. The Required raw materials are only defined if the task requires them. 

Important: Only the correct definition of required raw material, required starting products and manufactured product makes it possible for Keyline to automatically create the production flow. 

Once a raw material has been created, it is administered as follows:

Under the Material category the assignment of the corresponding category takes place, which was defined under Warehouse/Materials for the corresponding materials. 

With Material can also be left bank you can specify, that the raw material is not required to carry out the task. 

For optimization in automatic production planning, you can choose the option Try to pool task with the same material requirements during production.
With the option Select material automatically, the material (only valid for paper / color) is automatically proposed according to the preselection of the costing description.

The source from which the material is to be selected automatically is only displayed if Select material automatically is activated. The selection is then made between paper or color.

The formula is created to calculate the material, the unit determines the material unit.
