With the iPad app, you can take as many photos as you like for any production task that includes material consumption.
For example, these photos can be used for batch documentation.
You can photograph the ream, the pallet or simply a material label.
If the app detects a QR code or barcode, it is shown separately as plain text.
An image can also contain several QR codes or barcodes – all detected codes are read and documented individually.
Once the product is complete, you can view all the photos taken under “Picture proofs”.
The detected QR code and barcode data is listed alongside the photos, giving you a complete, traceable record of the production process.
These picture proofs can also be used internally:
for quality assurance
for complete material traceability
as evidence when handling complaints or for supplier evaluations
for internal audits or certification processes (such as FSC or ISO)
This feature makes subsequent documentation and traceability much easier, especially for complex production jobs or those relevant to certification.
