Each work step that consumes raw material can be individually adjusted.
By default, the formula for total costs is: unit price Γ material demand quantity.
The material requirement is calculated or defined using a formula.
The unit price is automatically derived from the prices stored in Keyline for the respective packaging units.
Manual Adjustment of Material Prices in the Calculation
It is also possible to manually adjust the unit price in the calculation β for example, to account for expected price increases in advance.
These changes are also carried over when duplicating production runs or creating reprints. In other words, the manually adjusted unit price will automatically apply in these cases as well.
To ensure full transparency, the price overview clearly indicates where a manual price adjustment has been made.
You can delete the manual unit price at any time. In that case, Keyline will automatically revert to the stored prices from the respective packaging unit.
