Each production task that consumes raw material can be adjusted individually.
By default, the formula for total costs is: Unit price × Material requirement.
The required material quantity is calculated or defined using a formula.
The unit price is automatically derived from the prices stored in Keyline for the respective packaging units.
Manually adjust the material price in costing
You can also adjust the unit price manually in costing — for example, to account for expected price increases in advance.
These changes are also carried over when you duplicate production runs or create reprints. This means the manually adjusted unit price automatically applies in those cases too.
The price overview highlights manual price adjustments so you can see exactly where they were made:
You can delete the manual unit price at any time. Keyline then uses the stored prices from the relevant packaging unit again.
