When you create a new organization in Keyline, you can have a debtor or customer number entered automatically using a small scenario in Make.com.
Here we explain how to set this up, step by step.
First, create a new integration in Keyline with the Organisation_created trigger.
Enter the URL from your Make.com scenario as the webhook.
In Make itself, you only need four modules:
You also need a data store with a data structure. You can find its settings on the far left in the Make.com main menu.
The data structure could look like this:
And the data store looks like this:
Now for the actual scenario. Here is how the four modules are structured and configured:
1) The first module contains your webhook with the URL you entered in Keyline.
2) The Data Store module finds the last saved entry for you – in other words, the current debtor number:
3) An HTTP Request module updates the organization using the following settings:
Enter the following URL at the top:
https://app.keyline-mis.com/api/v2/customer_relations/organizations/
Then add the Attribute ID from the first module so that Keyline can update the correct organization.
The remaining settings look like this:
And finally:
{
"organization": {
"debitor_identifier": "HIER DIE VARIABLE AUS DEM DATASTORE VERWENDEN"
}
}
4) All that remains is to update the number so that the next organization receives the next debtor number. This is done using a Data Store Add/Replace module with the following settings:
Of course, you can also specify fixed numbers in advance and save them in the data store. Just make sure to delete them once they have been used.
