In order for Kickbooster to track and display your traffic activity (i.e. number of clicks), you will want to ensure to share the short URL. The short URL would be the unique referral link that you have generated on Kickbooster. 

E.g. https://123456.kckb.st

As the click is hitting Kickbooster first, we can track it accordingly.

From time to time, we find that some Affiliates will share the long URL.

E.g. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1042993745/kickstartercampaign?utm_source=kickbooster&utm_medium=redirect&utm_content=link&utm_campaign=123456

If a backer clicks on the long URL, we cannot track the click since it didn't hit Kickbooster first. We can, however, still track the pledge.

So if being able to track traffic is important to you, then be sure to always share the short URL.
