On our pricing pages, you'll see pricing displayed as a monthly subscription plus a percentage of Affiliate-Generated Revenue.
Affiliate-Generated Revenue refers to the revenue generated from successful sales or pledges that are referred by your affiliates. This percentage only applies to revenue generated through your referral program—it does not apply to sales or pledges that weren't referred by an affiliate.
How does it work?
Kickbooster only charges an Affiliate-Generated Revenue fee when an affiliate generates a successful referral. If your referral program doesn't generate any referred sales or pledges, you won't be charged this fee.
Directly Recruited Affiliates
Affiliates you recruit yourself—such as through your affiliate signup page, by manually adding them, or through your own outreach efforts—are subject to our standard Affiliate-Generated Revenue fee.
Marketplace Affiliates
Affiliates who join your program through the Kickbooster Marketplace, or referrals generated through Kickbooster promotional placements (such as the Marketplace, Staff Picks, or our newsletter), are subject to a 5% Affiliate-Generated Revenue fee.
Why is the Marketplace fee different?
In addition to providing the software to manage your referral program, Kickbooster also helps promote your program through the Marketplace and other promotional opportunities. The Marketplace fee helps support these additional promotional efforts.
How are these fees billed?
Once your referral program is active, any applicable Affiliate-Generated Revenue fees are combined with the affiliate commissions owed to your affiliates into a single Affiliate Fee invoice.
