Introduction

This guide will walk you through the process of granting organization-wide access to Kickscale's two Microsoft applications. These apps are essential for the full functionality of Kickscale, our SaaS platform designed to enhance your team's productivity.

Important: You must be a Microsoft organization administrator to perform these steps.

Understanding Kickscale's Two Applications

Kickscale offers two separate Microsoft apps to provide flexibility and respect user privacy:

  1. Kickscale Productive: Handles login to the Kickscale platform without calendar access.

  2. Kickscale Notetaker: Integrates with Microsoft Teams calendars.

It's crucial to grant access to both applications for full Kickscale functionality.

  2. Search for "Kickscale Productive" in the application list.

    • If it's not listed, log in to Kickscale with your admin credentials to make it appear.

  3. Select "Kickscale Productive" from the list.

  4. In the left menu, click on "Permissions".

  5. Click "Grant admin consent for [Your Organization]".

  6. Review the requested permissions and click "Accept" to grant organization-wide access.

For Kickscale Notetaker App

  3. Select "Kickscale Notetaker" from the list.

  4. In the left menu, click on "Permissions".

  5. Click "Grant admin consent for [Your Organization]".

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues or the applications don't appear in your Microsoft Entra admin center:

  1. Ensure you're logged in with an account that has Microsoft organization administrator privileges.

  2. Try logging out of Kickscale and logging back in with your admin credentials.

  3. For the Notetaker app, make sure you've clicked "Connect Microsoft Calendar" in the Kickscale settings.
