This simple step-by-step tutorial explains how to integrate the Notetaker into your meetings, whether during the meeting, before scheduling, or afterward.

Steps to Add the Notetaker

  • Step 1: Connect to Your Calendar

    • Connect your calendar with the Notetaker so that the bot automatically joins the meeting’s waiting room.

    • If the Notetaker disappears, for example, after reloading your Chrome tab, follow the steps below.

  • Step 2: Manually Add the Meeting Link

    • Go to the meeting overview and click on the second robot icon in the blue box.

    • Click on "Schedule Bot," and a dialog box will open.

    • Paste the meeting link (e.g., Google Meeting URL) into the "Link to meeting" field.

    • Leave the "When the bot should join" field empty if you want the bot to join immediately.

    • Once the schedule button turns blue, click "Schedule." The bot will join in about two minutes.

  • Step 3: Invite the Notetaker as a Participant

    • You can also invite the Notetaker as a participant to your meeting by adding the email address notetaker@kickscale.com

    • This is especially useful if you only want the Notetaker to join specific meetings.

  • Step 4: Additional Scenarios

    • Use the bot scheduling function if you want the Notetaker to join immediately or at a later time.

    • Ensure that the Notetaker was not accidentally removed if it does not join automatically.
