Your Kicksta dashboard helps you track follower growth and review the activity taking place on your account. You’ll find the Performance section on your Overview page, with a summary of your results, a Daily gains chart, and a Recent activity feed.
Performance overview
Use the 7d, 14d, or 30d options to review performance over different time periods.
At the top of the section, you’ll see three key metrics:
Total followers: Your account’s total follower count.
Followers gained: The number of followers gained during the selected period.
Follow-back rate: The percentage of users who followed you back after being followed through Kicksta.
Daily gains
The Daily gains chart displays follower gains by day, helping you spot trends and compare results throughout the selected period.
Above the chart, you’ll find:
Total: The total number of followers gained during the period.
Avg/day: Your average daily follower gain.
Best: The date with the highest follower gain and the number gained that day.
Each green bar represents that day’s gains. The Today marker identifies the current day, whose results may still be developing.
Growth can vary from day to day, so review trends across a longer period before deciding whether to adjust your targeting.
Recent activity
The Recent activity feed shows recent actions and recorded followbacks, with a timestamp for each entry.
You may see entries such as:
“+X follows via @targetaccount” — Follow actions performed through that target. This represents accounts followed, rather than followers gained.
“@username followed you back” — A recorded followback from an individual user.
This feed helps you understand which targets are being used and see followbacks as they are recorded.
View and filter all activity
Click See all activity or the expand icon in the top-right corner of the feed to open the All activity window.
You can filter the list using these tabs:
All: View all activity types together.
Followbacks: View recorded followbacks.
Follows: View follow actions.
Unfollows: View unfollow actions.
You can also use Export CSV to download activity data for further review.
Understanding followback timing
Kicksta checks for followbacks a few days after the initial interaction, typically during the unfollow phase, which occurs around 2–4 days after a user is followed. This gives users time to visit your profile and decide whether to follow you back.
Because of this, recorded followbacks may appear in your dashboard later than they appear on Instagram. The LIVE label on the activity feed does not mean every followback is detected immediately.
Using your results to improve targeting
Your follow-back rate can help you assess how well your targeting is connecting with potential followers. As a general guideline:
10% or higher: A healthy follow-back rate.
6–7%: Allow more time and continue monitoring.
Below 5%: Review your targeting and consider replacing underperforming targets once enough activity has been recorded.
The follow-back rate shown in the Performance overview is an overall metric, so it should not be treated as the rate for any individual target.
Review your Daily gains alongside your Recent activity to understand growth trends and the actions behind them. Give recent interactions time to produce followbacks, then use those results to guide adjustments to your targeting.
