How to Cancel Your Kicksta Subscription

Your Kicksta subscription is managed per Instagram account, so you can cancel one account while keeping others active. Here's everything you need to know.

⚠️ Important: Disconnecting an account is NOT the same as cancelling your subscription

This is the most common point of confusion, so please read this first:

Disconnecting your Instagram account does not stop your billing. If you only disconnect your account, your subscription stays active and you will continue to be charged on your normal billing date.

To stop being charged, you must cancel the subscription using the steps below — or reach out to our support team to do it for you. There are no hidden or surprise charges; billing simply continues until the subscription itself is cancelled.


Step 1 — Open Settings

From any page in your dashboard, click Settings in the top navigation bar.

Step 2 — Go to the Subscriptions section

Scroll down past Personal Details, Login & Communication, and Payment And Billing until you reach the Subscriptions section. Here you'll see each connected account with its plan, billing date, server, and Status.

Step 3 — Click "Cancel Subscription"

Find the account you want to cancel. While its status is Active, click the Cancel Subscription link on the right side of that account's card.

Step 4 — Review what you'll lose, then Proceed

A Subscription cancellation window opens, explaining that cancelling stops all growth features at the end of your current billing period (you keep full access until then). It shows your estimated growth lost and the features that will stop. Click Back to Dashboard to keep your plan, or Proceed to continue.

Step 5 — Complete the 3 steps and give your reason

You'll be guided through a short 3-step confirmation. During these steps, you'll be asked for your reason for cancelling — please share it, as it helps us improve. Follow the prompts to finish.


What happens after you cancel (your plan stays active until the end of your billing cycle)

Once finished, your subscription moves to a Scheduled cancellation state:

  • ✅ Your service keeps running normally until the end of your current billing cycle.

  • ✅ No further charges are attempted after that date.

  • 📅 The card shows your Scheduled cancellation date.

Changed your mind? Remove the scheduled cancellation

Click Remove (next to the scheduled cancellation date) to keep your subscription with no interruption.

Want to cancel immediately instead?

The scheduled cancellation keeps your service active until your billing cycle ends. If you'd prefer to be cancelled right away, please contact our support team and they'll handle it for you.

After the subscription is fully cancelled

Once the billing cycle ends (or support cancels immediately), the account becomes Canceled:

  • The card shows Status: Canceled with View Invoices and Reactivate Account buttons.

  • Home and Dynamics are locked for that account — you'll see a reactivation window over a locked screen until you reactivate.

  • You can confirm the cancelled status anytime in Settings → Subscriptions.

Reactivating later

Click Reactivate Account (or Select plan), choose Month, Quarter, or Year (Year includes a discount), review the summary, and click Reactivate subscription. Your account resumes with no extra setup.
