Setting Up Your Account

Before you begin sending invoices or submitting tax updates, it is worth spending a few minutes making sure your account settings are complete and correct.


Basic Information

Go to Settings and check the following:

1. Confirm your email address is correct

2. Confirm your mobile number is correct

3. Update anything that is missing

Financial Information & Business Logo

Still in Settings, go to the Financial Information section. Here you can upload your business logo. This will appear on every invoice you send to parents, helping them recognise it has come from your childcare setting.

Email Settings

To send invoices and statements to parents directly from Nomi, you need to set up your email settings:

4. Go to Settings, then click the Email Settings tab

5. Click Edit

6. Set the SMTP configuration to AWS

7. Enter your Reply To email address and your Email From address

8. You will receive a verification email from Amazon Web Services β€” open it and click the verification link

Top Tip: You only need to do this email setup once. After verification, you can send invoices and statements directly to parents from within Nomi.
