Donors get access to a dedicated portal where they can manage their donations, such as changing their payment card details, canceling automatic donations, viewing and downloading receipts, and so on.

Note: Changing your email address, increasing your donation amount, or switching from one-time to monthly recurring involves restarting your donation. Your old email address will still work to manage your old donations.

Updating Payment Method

Updating Your Card

Please follow the steps below:

  1. To access the donor portal, go to https://kindest.com/donor-portal/ and enter the email address you used to donate. A secure login link will then be sent to you via email. (Note: No password is required to access the donor portal; just use the secure URL emailed to you. This link expires in 24 hours.)

  2. Click on Update Card.

  3. Enter the new card details and hit Update. See screenshot below:

Switching From Card to ACH

The way to do this is to stop your recurring donations using your payment card, and restart your donation with the new payment method. Please follow the steps below:

  1. To access the donor portal, go to https://kindest.com/donor-portal/ and enter the email address you used to donate. A secure login link will then be sent to you via email. (Note: No password is required to access the donor portal; just use the secure URL emailed to you. This link expires in 24 hours.)

  2. Click on Stop Donating. A prompt will pop-up to confirm your action. Proceed with your action.

  3. Log-out of the portal and head on to the fundraising page where you intend to donate.

  4. To set up for ACH, just choose “Bank Account” on the payment detail page and proceed to make your donation with the required information. Here’s a sample screenshot below:

Stop Your Recurring Donation

If you would like to discontinue your monthly recurring donation, either for good or because you are switching to a new payment method or to a new email address, here are the steps to follow:

  1. To access the donor portal, go to https://kindest.com/donor-portal/ and enter the email address you used to donate. A secure login link will then be sent to you via email. (Note: No password is required to access the donor portal; just use the secure URL emailed to you. This link expires in 24 hours.)

  2. Once logged in, click on Stop Donating. A prompt will pop-up to confirm your action. Proceed with your action.

Restarting Your Donation

If you previously stopped your donations and would like to start again using the same payment method, just follow the steps indicated below:

  1. To access the donor portal, go to https://kindest.com/donor-portal/ and enter the email address you used to donate. A secure login link will then be sent to you via email. (Note: No password is required to access the donor portal; just use the secure URL emailed to you. This link expires in 24 hours.)

  2. Once logged in, click on Restart Monthly Donation. A prompt will pop-up to confirm your action. Proceed with your action.

  3. You will then see that your monthly recurring donations has been activated.

Changing Your Email Address

Because your email address is tied to your access to the donor's portal, altering or modifying your email address means you'll have to start again with your donations. However, using your old email address, you can still access your prior donations.

To avoid being charged twice and donating twice, please follow the procedures outlined in Stop Your Recurring Donation to use a different email address for your donation. Once your monthly recurring payment with the old email address has been stopped, go to the fundraising page that you're donating to and fill in the relevant information using the new email address.
