Custom data types can help keep track of employee information not included out of the box in People by Wagepoint

Custom data types can be created in People by Wagepoint to keep track of information such as software licenses, computer serial numbers, license information, or travel information.

To create Custom data types, select the Employees navigation from the sidebar in People by Wagepoint. Click Custom Data Types from the menu.

Next, click "Add custom data type" from the top right of your screen, and add your data type name, and any items. Items will appear in a drop down in the employee profile, with a blank field to add data if necessary. To finish, click "save custom data type."


Once created, Custom Data Types are available in employee's profiles. They are visible and editable only to HR Managers in the system. Click the arrow to expand the custom data type, and make as many entries as needed.
