Any user who has an Active employment status in their profile counts towards your active user count and can affect the amount you're being billed. You can find the Employment Status under the Employment Details section of their profile.

As soon as a new employee is added to People by Wagepoint, they are considered Active, and will be added to your billable user count.

Change a user's Employment Status to Resigned, Terminated, or Leave of Absence to remove them from your active user count. To do so, select a status other than Active from the Employment Status drop down located in the Employment Details section. Be sure to scroll down, and save your changes.

Once a user's status is changed to Resigned, Terminated, or Leave of Absence, the user will no longer have access to People by Wagepoint.  Don't worry, as the company you will not lose access to that employee's data once they are deactivated.

It's good to review user status' from time-to-time to be sure your user count is accurate.
