Welcome to People by Wagepoint, which helps organize your workplace. Note that your employer may use People by Wagepoint just for one or two features but we describe all of them here, so pick and choose as befits your company’s use.

Time off, holiday, and sick time

People by Wagepoint manages balances and requests for all kinds of time off, from holidays and vacation, to sick time and parental leave.  You can view your balances and history under Time Off, and when you need to take time off, make the request in People by Wagepoint where it will be sent automatically to your manager for approval. Once approved (or denied), you’ll get an email notification. You can cancel or modify your requests as well and, depending on the changes, your manager will be notified.

There’s also a company calendar which lists your coworkers’ time away from work, along with any company holidays or events where your offices may be closed. If your company uses Google or Microsoft for email and calendar management, you can subscribe to Kin’s calendar so all those events sync up to your work calendar.

Your employee data and files

You can think of People by Wagepoint as a filing cabinet for your workplace. People by Wagepoint stores any information your employer needs from you to ensure you get paid, have benefits, and make the most out of work.

Your profile page in People by Wagepoint is where you can keep your employer updated on things like your home address, emergency contact info, and bank routing info.  When you update anything here (for example, your home address), your HR Manager is notified so they can make any adjustments where needed, like in payroll.

As for files, People by Wagepoint is designed to host your employment documents digitally so they’re available to you from anywhere at any time. From time to time, you'll receive a request to complete a document in People by Wagepoint and, once you've completed it, you can access it anytime directly in People by Wagepoint, along with other files that’ve been added.

New hire onboarding

If you’re a new employee at your company, you’re likely getting introduced to People by Wagepoint via its new hire onboarding page. People by Wagepoint manages the tasks and paperwork you need to get up and running, and it gives you a high-level introduction to your peers via their job descriptions, bios, and contact information. Once you’re onboarded, you’ll use People by Wagepoint to manage your time off, and keep up your employer up to date on the information they need for payroll, benefits, and feedback.

Employee reviews, objectives, and bios

People by Wagepoint has a few ways to keep you aligned with your work and coworkers. There are job descriptions and biography pages to help you get to know one another and your new coworkers, for example. As for keeping you aligned with work, People by Wagepoint's employee reviews and objectives are a way to do just that - you can use objectives and track their progress throughout the year to keep
