Your HR Manager is responsible for setting up a review in People by Wagepoint between you and your employee(s). Once the review is set up, you'll receive an email to take steps to conduct the review with your employee(s).

Here are the steps to take:

Once you receive an email that your reviews are set up, log into People by Wagepoint to continue. You'll also see your reviews as tasks when you log into People by Wagepoint

Click each task, or click the arrow next to your name in the top left of the screen to view your company, and head to the Employee Reviews navigation on the sidebar

Next, click the review you'd like to get started

The review will open and you will see several pieces of information to take note of before you begin.

  • First, information about the review will be listed along the right of the screen. You'll see your information with instructions from your HR Manager, and your employee's information.

  • In your employee's information, you'll see how long it has been since their last review, the time-off they have available, and their start date. Their Available PTO is a combination of all of their available hours across all of their plans. This can sometimes be used to indicate employee health-- has the employee used a lot of time-off? Not enough? Is there a reason why?

  • Next, you'll see instructions, your employee's in-progress objectives, and any files that need to be reviewed. Note that you and your employee can also upload files to the review.

Now, it's time to begin the review.

If you typically meet to discuss your feedback, you can schedule a meeting right from your review. Click the link to choose a date and time before your review window is up. Note that meetings cannot be scheduled after feedback is shared.

Then, answer the questions provided, and add comments where necessary. Need more time to think about your responses? You can save your review as a draft and come back to it at a later time by clicking Save as Draft. When you're satisfied with your answers, click Submit Feedback.

After submitting your feedback, your responses will no longer be editable. Your employee will not see your feedback until they have also submitted their own. Then, both parties will see each others' feedback.

After you have both provided feedback, it would be a good time to get together and discuss your feedback. Both you and your employee can comment on your submitted feedback at this time. When you're ready, you can answer your follow up questions (if applicable) and sign off on the review. Your employee will then be prompted to do the same.

Once you and your employee have completed the review, it will be available in the employee's profile to reference at any time.
