This article provides a step-by-step guide on adding Kintsugi to your California state profile to ensure we receive two-factor authentication codes for filings.

Which email do I add to my profile?

You will be adding the Virtual Mail Group ID that is provided in your TryKintsugi platform. Below are instructions on how to retrieve that Virtual Mail Group ID:

Step 1: Login to your TryKintsugi account

Step 2: On the bottom left hand side of your screen you will see the tab named "Configuration". Click on that tab.

Step 3: Click on "KinstsugiMail" at the top of the screen

Step 4: You will see the Virtual Mail Group ID. You will need to copy and paste that ID into your state profile. Once that is done, Kintsugi will have the ability to receive two factor authentications moving forward.

Step 1: You need to log into your California CDTFA account by using your Username and Password.

Step 2: Once you log into your account, you will need to click on "Settings" located in the top right of your screen.

Step 3: You will need to click on the "Edit" button in the Logon section of the screen.

Step 4: You will be asked to put in an email that will receive the two factor authentication. You will be inputting the Virtual Group Mail ID from your Kintsugi portal. Once you have entered in the required information and clicked save, Kintsugi will now be able to receive two factor authentication when logging into your account in the future.
