One Direction Integration (Read-Only Access)
One Direction integrations have read-only access, meaning they can sync data from your connected platform but cannot modify or adjust sales tax information on invoices. This means that:
Users must manually update their tax settings within the integrated platform (e.g., Shopify, QuickBooks, etc.).
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure tax collection settings are properly configured within the integration.
Important: Since we do not modify tax settings for One Direction integrations, you must:
Confirm that your integrated platform (e.g., Shopify) is set up to collect sales tax in the correct jurisdictions.
Ensure your products are properly categorized within your integration to align with our calculated tax amount.
Regularly review your tax collection settings to avoid discrepancies between Collected Tax and Calculated Tax.
Bi-Directional Integrations (Read and Write Access)Bi-Directional Integrations have both read and write access, meaning our platform can modify tax details on invoices from the integrated system. This includes:
The ability to update or override sales tax amounts.
Ensuring that calculated tax matches the collected tax within the integration.
Reducing the need for manual tax adjustments by the customer.
