Why Some Transactions Are Missing from the Dashboard Count

Updated this week

Ever wonder why a transaction might be missing from your dashboard? It's all about how we sort them to keep your view clear and useful! This guide explains which transactions you'll see and which you won't.

What You WILL See (Finalized Transactions)

Your dashboard shows transactions that are complete and important for your records. These include:

  • COMMITTED: The payment is done, and the transaction is final.

  • FULLY_REFUNDED: The transaction was paid, but the full amount was returned.

  • PARTIALLY_REFUNDED: The transaction was paid, but only part of the amount was returned.

These are the transactions that have finished their process and are relevant for things like tax filing.

What You WON'T See (In-Progress or Unfinished Transactions)

To keep your dashboard focused on completed items, we exclude:

  • PENDING: These transactions are still in progress and haven't been paid or finalized yet.

  • CANCELLED: These transactions were never completed or paid; they're voided.

Special Case: QuickBooks Transactions

If you use QuickBooks, there's a slight difference. When a QuickBooks transaction starts as PENDING, our system automatically updates it to COMMITTED. This means it will show up on your dashboard just like any other finished transaction. No extra steps needed for QuickBooks!

What About Stripe, Chargebee, and Others?

For integrations like Stripe and Chargebee:

  • PENDING transactions (like draft invoices) will not appear on your dashboard.

  • Only COMMITTED transactions are displayed.
