What is a Section?
Sections are offerings of a course. Think of it this way - if you're an algebra teacher, the course you use is "algebra" and the sections you create are for your class periods throughout the day.
How to Create a Section:
To add a course to your dashboard, you will want to create a section by doing the following:
1) Log in to your account
2) Click the "Library" link on the left-hand side
3) Click the "Kira" link on the library page to see the courses provided by Kira
4) Find the course you want to use and click the "Add to my resources" button
5) Now, click on "My resources," and you should see the course you just added
6) Locate the copy of the course you just added and click the "Create Section" button.
7) Name your section, fill out the year, and last but not least, click "Create Section."
Your newly created section will now be available on your dashboard.
You can also visit the section settings by Clicking on Manage, and then selecting Sections on the left-hand side of the page.
