Hardware and Internet Requirements
Student Devices: Each student should have access to a computer during class time. Compatible devices include:
Chromebook
Mac
PC
iPads/Tablets are not fully compatible quite yet, but will be soon as our team is working on making the necessary changes to ensure all functionality works well on tablets and iPads.
Browser Compatibility
Kira performs best on the following modern web browsers:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge
Safari
Additional Equipment
Headphones: Each student should have a pair of headphones. Kira’s courses include video-based instruction; teachers can make individual, classroom-level decisions around how they will use these videos with their students (watching as a whole class vs having students watch them independently). Access to headphones will ensure teachers can do what’s best for their students and maintain a productive learning environment.
Network Configuration
