Licenses for artists working freelance or remotely for larger studios

At KitBash3D we try to make licensing as easy as possible, but there are some gray areas that we need to clarify:

  • If KitBash3D Assets are going to be stored on a shared server, you will need a license that covers the number of artists who have access to that server.

Since Individual Licenses do not permit storage on company servers, this requires a Small Studio license at minimum.

  • If you are working remotely and will be delivering assets or 3D scenes, then the receiving studio will be required to purchase an appropriate Studio license.

  • If you are working remotely and will be delivering 2D images (stills or full shot renders), without the 3D assets, you are covered by an Individual license.

If your situation doesn't match any of these scenarios, please reach out to us and we can help to clarify the End User License Agreement (EULA).
