    • You have the option to change import settings to another connected 3D software or add a new 3D software

    • You can remove a 3D software by clicking Remove

  • Texture Size

    • The Asset Inspector defaults to the Texture Size set in your Software Settings.

    • Choose your desired texture size for the asset. You can see the file size of each option within the Texture Size drop-down menu.

Downloading (unlocking) an Asset

In order to import an asset into your 3D software scene or project, you must first unlock the asset in Cargo, this is done through the Download function.

Note: The Asset Inspector defaults to the Texture Size set in your Software Settings.

Click Download

After selecting the texture size, click the “Download” button at the bottom of the Asset Inspector.

The Download Bar will become a progress bar. Cancel the download at any time by clicking on the “X” on the progress bar.

Build a Download Queue

You can select multiple assets to download at the same time by using Cargo's download queue.
Click on an asset you'd like to use, click the download button and repeat!

View the download queue by clicking "Progress" in the bottom left of Cargo.

Remove an asset from the queue by clicking the asset and then click "Cancel" for that asset.

Importing an Asset into your 3D Software

When the assets finish downloading, the progress bar becomes the Import button.

  1. Ensure that your 3D software is open and the Cargo Plugin is connected or activated within your 3D software.
Cargo plugin connection steps vary by 3D Software.

  2. Click Import once to open the asset in your 3D software.

  3. While Cargo will show that the import is complete, there may be a delay while your 3D software renders the asset.

  4. Switch over to your 3D Software project to monitor when the asset has fully imported.

Troubleshooting Download or Import errors

If you've run into an error when downloading or importing an asset, read our general guides to ensure your system is setup to use Cargo:

There are items that are specific to the 3D Software you're using that can prevent Cargo from successfully importing.
