Scan a multi-page document and store it in Kith + Kin

Learn how to use built-in features on your phone to scan a multi-page document and save it as a Smart Item

Updated over a week ago

We've all received a stack of papers from a doctor on the way out. (Yay...) Whether it's discharge papers or a long form you need to file away, it's a pain to find a place for it. With KinKeeper, you can file it away and always know it's there when you need to reference it later โ€“ wherever you are.

While you can take individual photos of each page and clutter your camera roll, why not scan each page and save it as one single document in KinKeeper?

Here's how to scan a multi-page document and store it in KinKeeper:

iPhone Users

  • Open Notes and select a note or create a new one.

  • Tap the Camera button, then tap Scan Documents.

  • Place your document in view of the camera and scan as many pages as you need.

  • Tap Save when finished

  • Tap on the preview of the image, then tap Share

  • Scroll down and tap Save to Files

  • Now, open KinKeeper and click the Plus Button to add a File!

Android Users

  • Open the Google Drive app.

  • In the bottom right, tap Add

  • Tap Scan

  • Take a photo of the document you'd like to scan.

  • Create your own title or select a suggested title.

  • To save the finished document, tap Save

  • Now, open KinKeeper and click the Plus Button to add a File!
